Since the DeepSeek shock, global competition for AI supremacy has intensified. Major presidential candidates, including Lee Jae-myung, have all emphasized the competitiveness of the AI industry, and AI became a key issue in the election. What impact does AI have on the economy and what role does it play in imperialist rivalry? And how does it affect the lives of workers and ordinary people?

Cristiano Sabiu, an astrophysicist and research professor at the University of Seoul, will explore these questions from a Marxist perspective.
