In Los Angeles, countless people regardless of their races have been rising up for nearly 2 weeks against Trump's brutal crackdown of immigrants. Trump deployed the military to crush the revolt, but the revolt has defied the repression and spread to a mass anti-government movement accross the US. Less than 5 months into his second term, Trump is already facing a serious challenge in the streets.
We’ve invited a Socialist Worker correspondent reporting from LA to share vivid on-the-ground stories, the background and spread of the revolt, and discuss what have to be done for this movement to defeat Trump.
