Amid deep concern over Trump’s tariff and security offensive, non-Western coalitions led by China are emerging. In particular, the gathering of the North Korean, Chinese, and Russian leaders at China’s Victory Day military parade drew attention.

Some on the left see the network of these countries or BRICS will help build an equitable multipolar order in opposition to U.S. unilateralism.

How should we view the ‘anti-U.S.’ cooperation of states like North Korea, China, and Russia? If we want a world without imperialism and war, what is truly needed?
