Hyundai Motor Group recently made headlines by unveiling their humanoid robots. President Lee Jae-myung said AI and robotics are now the unstoppable trend that “the majority of people will find it difficult to secure jobs.”

There is widespread speculation that AI and robots will rapidly replace human labor. What kind of changes will the advancement of AI bring to the future of work? From a Marxist perspective, we aim to examine the myths and realities of AI’s impact on the labor market and the workplace, and discuss what stance workers should take toward such technological innovation.
