얼마 전까지만 해도 미미하고 괴상한 존재인 듯했던 극우가 급부상하고 있습니다. 쿠데타 미수범 윤석열 되살리기 시도 속에서 버젓한 세력으로 떠오르며 지지를 확대하고 있는 것이죠. 그들은 힘을 과시하고자 거리 시위를 하고 서부지법 폭동을 일으킨 데 이어, 마트 노동조합원들을 공격하고, 대학에서도 진지를 구축하려 합니다.
현 상황은 단지 일탈에 불과할까요? 그들은 누구이고, 왜 부상하고 있을까요? 이를 막으려면 어떻게 해야 할지, 대학에서 극우 준동에 맞서는 맞불 시위 경험도 들어보면서 함께 토론하려 합니다.

The far right in South Korea, who once seemed marginal and bizarre, are now rapidly on the rise. Seeking to save the coup attempter Yoon Suk-yeol they've become a force to be reckoned with, and are expanding their support. To show their strength they've staged street demos, rioted at Seoul Western District Court, attacked supermarket union members, and are trying to establish a foothold on campuses.
Is this situation merely an aberration? Who are they, and why are they on the rise? How can we stop them? We will discuss these questions together, hearing from the firsthand experience of confronting far right provocations on campuses.
